I stood at the edge of a dried-up pond and thought…

My recent field visit reminds me once again of the question of how the future will shape itself, rather than the end of a season.

While observing the preparations for 2026, we discussed with our producers both this year's harvest and the risks we will face in the coming season.

Unfortunately, the increasing risk of drought is no longer just a prediction. Drying irrigation ponds remind us once again of the value of every drop of water and the urgent need for sustainable production.

From now on, our focus must be crystal clear:

* Efficiency in water management,
* Climate-adapted production planning,
* Strengthening producer, industry, and consultancy collaborations.

What I witnessed in the field reminded me once again that the future of agricultural production can only be shaped through shared wisdom and conscious action.
